Doesn't that just sound wonderful?

We all deal with the effects of shame, yet mommy-shame is in a category all its own. I'm not sure why that is true, but I know from experience that mistakes made in the line of parenting just seem to hit harder and last longer than in any other area of life. My personal theory is that there is just nothing we try harder to be than good moms. Yes, we want to be excellent at our jobs, in our marriages, and in our friendships, but it's our little ones that hold our hearts. And our hearts can take quite a licking along the way!

That is why I have such a passion for refreshing the heart of the hard working mama! Please join me for a weekend designed to help you shake off the shame, fear, and exhaustion of motherhood, and bask in the grace God wants to lavish on you. Mark your calendar for January 19-21, 2024!

I have found that taking time at the beginning of the year for reflection and contemplation in my role as a mother creates space in my mind and heart to receive revelation from the Spirit. Stilling our minds and bodies has a way of allowing us to hear God's soft whisper and feel the nudges that are so often missed or drowned out by the noise of our every day lives.

I hope you will join me for a weekend of refreshment at the Residence Inn in Oxnard, CA. Registration for the event will include all classes, a meal on Saturday, and digital recordings of the weekend. Once you register you will be able to access the info for the rooming plans to choose from.
